This is the next MOW sign which all trains going up the Palestine sub must stop to get clearance by. Here's how it works:
All trains proceeding into the work area must get clearance to pass the red board by contacting the dispatcher to get clearance through the work area however long it is.
There is a 10-20MPH speed restriction until clear of the work area however long it is. All trains must also signal the work crew by doing what is called bells and whistles for the boys which means all trains must signal the work crew of their presence in or near the work area by sounding their horn and their bell to let the work crew know to stay clear until safe to resume work again.
I would of gotten a better shot of these signs but there was a train which was going to soon occupy the mainline waiting in the yard with all of his ditch lights on. I knew he would be rolling as soon as he could.
