Diverging Approach, Rule 9.2.11, Proceed on diverging route at prescribed speed through turnout prepared to stop before any part of train or engine passes the next signal. Freight trains exceeding 30mph must immediately reduce to 30mph, Passenger trains must immediately reduce to 40mph. Once again, not familiar with that exact type of signal on the UP, but the aspect is pretty much universal
